Inspiration

The Elowen Flush Mount Ceiling Light brings a lampshade to the ceiling: an oval fabric drum sits tight against a slim brushed-metal ring, and its hem is cut into two rows of scallops bound in contrasting tape, so the bottom edge reads like the trim on a pillowcase. A white diffuser closes the underside and softens the bulbs above. Six fabrics are offered — burgundy stripe, brown polka dot, plain tan, botanical floral, white with red trim, and lilac plaid — each with matching bias binding at the top and hem. This fabric drum flush mount suits a nursery, kids' bedroom, walk-in closet, or hallway with low ceilings in coquette, cottagecore, or grandmillennial homes, and pairs with patterned wallpaper, painted beds, and gingham curtains.

Is the shade round or oval?
Oval — 35.5cm/14″ on the long side and 28cm/11″ on the short side. Mount it with the long axis running down a hallway or across a small room.
Is the scalloped edge sewn or printed?
Sewn. The two scallop rows are cut fabric bound with bias tape in the trim color; the same tape edges the top rim.
Can I see the bulbs from below?
No. A white diffuser covers the underside, so you see an even glow through the panel and the lit fabric, not the bulbs.
Does it work in a room with a low ceiling?
Yes — it mounts flush and drops only 23cm/9.1″ from the ceiling, so it clears standard 2.4m/8 ft ceilings with room to spare.
