Inspiration

The Ismerelle Table Lamp comes from the old boudoir lamps that once sat on dressing tables, dressed up like a ballgown. The shade is a tall bell of blush-pink satin sewn in soft panels, with small bows tucked at the seams and a single fabric rose pinned at the rim. A row of faux pearls runs around the crown and the hem, and from the hem hang looped swags of tiny pearl beads, each ending in a teardrop pearl that sways when the lamp is touched. A round pearl finial caps the top. Below, a turned brass stem rises in rings and bulbs to a flared base worked with leaf relief. Lit, the satin turns a warm pink and the pearls pick up the glow along the edge.

Will it fit on a nightstand or vanity?
At 59cm/23.2″ tall with a 30cm/11.8″ shade, it sits comfortably on most nightstands and dressing tables. Leave a little room around it so the pearl drops can hang free.
What kind of light does it give?
The pink satin tints the glow a warm blush, and most light falls down from the open bottom onto the table. Soft ambient and bedside light rather than a bright reading lamp.
Which bulb should I use?
A warm-light bulb is included. For replacements use an E26 or E27 LED A19, 2700–3000K, so the satin shade stays cool.
How do I keep the pearl swags tidy?
When unpacking, untangle each strand by hand before hanging it straight. Dust with a soft dry cloth and avoid pulling on the drops.
