Inspiration

The Linvoya is built around its joins. Where most shades hide the point at which one material becomes another, this one shows it: the fabric dome ends in a rattan whipstitch worked around the rim by hand, and the whole thing gathers into a turned wooden cap at the top. The reference is craft binding — the stitched edge of a sun hat, the wrapped rim of a basket — where the finishing is the ornament. Three materials, three visible handoffs, nothing concealed.

Rattan Whipstitch Edge

The rim of the fabric dome is bound in rattan whipstitch by hand, giving the shade a finished woven edge instead of a plain hem.

Solid-Wood Top Cap

A turned solid-wood cap holds the socket and closes the top of the dome — natural grain, so no two caps read identically.

One dome in three diameters, or a 39.4″ linear bar carrying two or three small domes across an island or long table.

Care

Dust fabric and rattan gently with a soft dry brush and keep them dry — neither is damp-rated. Wipe the wood cap and metal parts with a dry cloth.

Use Case

Use a single small dome over a counter, breakfast nook, or bedside; the medium and large over a dining table or in a living room; the linear bar over a kitchen island or a long table where one shade would leave the ends dark. The adjustable cord sets the hang height at install — over a table, aim for the bottom of the shade around 30–36″ above the surface.

FAQ

Will US bulbs fit the E27 socket?

Yes. E27 and the standard US E26 base are cross-compatible, so US replacement bulbs thread straight in. A warm white 3000K LED bulb is included per shade — two or three on the linear bar — and all are replaceable.

Will mine look exactly like the photo?

Close, but not identically. The dome is fabric, the edge is hand-bound rattan, and the cap is solid wood, so tone, weave density, and grain differ slightly between pieces. On the 2–3 light bar, the shades will also vary a little from each other — that variation is the nature of the materials, not a defect.

Which linear option fits my island?

Both use the same 39.4″ / 100 cm bar, so the fixture footprint is identical — the 3-light simply spaces three domes more tightly for a fuller line of light. The 2-light suits islands up to roughly 5 ft; beyond that the 3-light spreads the glow more evenly. For islands over 8 ft, two separate fixtures usually read better than one bar.
