Inspiration

The Peonelle Chandelier started from a peony bush at the end of May: one large bloom fully open in the middle, smaller flowers on long curving stems around it, a few buds still closed at the tips, and one flower turned upside down above the rest. We cut the petals and leaves from metal and painted them, bent the stems into long S-shaped arms that end in round buds, and set a light inside each flower.

White, Butter Yellow or Blush Pink?
All three have green stems and leaves. White petals look fresh against any wall color. Butter Yellow is a soft, sunny tone for a breakfast nook or sunroom. Blush Pink suits a girls’ room, a nursery or a pink-and-green dining room.
What size room does it fit?
At 76.2cm/30″ wide and tall, it suits a round dining table about 120–150cm/4–5 ft across or a room of about 12 x 14 ft. Over a table, set the bottom about 76–91cm/30–36″ above the surface.
What is it made of?
The petals, leaves and stems are painted metal, and the lights are white globe bulbs set straight into the flowers, with no separate shades. Dust the flowers with a soft dry brush and keep water off the paint.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and is suspended from a 50cm/19.7″ adjustable chain, so we recommend a licensed electrician. The eight E26 or E27 globe bulbs are included.
