The Selunora Pendant Lamp began with two things found in a craft basket: a spool of natural cotton rope and a handful of felt pom-poms. The rope is wound row by row around an iron drum, the way cord is wrapped around a hand-thrown planter, until the whole shade shows a fine ribbed texture. Pink, cream, and white pom-poms are then stitched on wherever they land, like dots on a hand-sewn quilt. Lit from within, the rope turns the drum into a warm lantern, which is why this cotton rope drum pendant light with pom-poms was designed with a nursery or kids' bedroom in mind.
