The Bellavion Wall Sconce is a Victorian gas bracket with a tulip in the cup. A single copper-finished arm leaves a round plate, dips in a J and rises straight up, the shape of the swan-neck gas pipes that fed bedroom lamps before electricity. At the top sits a pressed-glass cup with a scalloped rim and a row of glass beads around its neck, the same molded pattern the gaslight makers used, open at the top like a flower just unfolding. A single faceted crystal bead sits between the arm and the cup where the old gas key would have been. Lit, the tinted glass throws its color up the wall and the ribs and beads catch the light as small bright points.
