Inspiration

The Bellivie Wall Sconce started from the bell over an old flower shop door: it hung on a short cord from a bent iron bracket, and rang each time the door opened onto a window full of bellflowers in pink, green and caramel. We kept the bracket and the cord, swapped the metal bell for a fluted glass bloom with a scalloped edge, and threaded a single round bead above it where the bell cord once tied on.

FAQ
Will it work beside my bed?
Yes. The arm reaches 23cm/9.1″ from the wall and the 50cm/19.7″ cord can be shortened at installation, so you can hang the shade just above a nightstand. Many people mount a pair, one on each side of the bed.
Which shade color?
All three hang from a chrome arm. Pink comes with a cream bead and gives a soft blush glow; Olive Green fades from deep green to cream at the rim with a walnut-tone bead; Caramel fades from cream to orange at the rim, also with a walnut-tone bead, for a warm honey-colored light.
How bright is it?
It holds one E12 or E14 bulb in Warm Light (3000K), included. The colored glass tints the light, so it works as bedside and ambient light rather than a bright task light.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a wall junction box behind the round backplate. Set the cord length during installation; we recommend a licensed electrician.
