Inspiration

The Calythra Chandelier came from a bunch of white tulips left in a vase on a studio windowsill. Over a few days the petals opened wide, and the long stems leaned out in different directions, each holding its cup of light up toward the window. We kept the open cups and the leaning stems, then joined them back together the way the vase had, so every flower still rises from the same center.

Each flower cup is hand-carved in plaster resin and sanded smooth, its petals opening around the bulb.
Matte White Finish
The flowers, arms, struts, cone and canopy are all finished in one even matte white.
Slender Strut Frame
Thin angled struts run from a cone at the top down to each arm, and the 8-light version stacks two tiers.

Which size should I choose?
The 6-Light Small (Dia 76cm/29.9″) suits a dining table or a bedroom. The 6-Light Large (Dia 101cm/39.8″) suits a larger dining room or living room. The 8-Light Two-Tier (Dia 121cm/47.6″, H 146cm/57.5″) is the tallest, made for a foyer, a stairwell or a room with a high ceiling.
How bright is it?
Each flower cup holds one G9 bulb, included, in Warm Light (3000K). The light glows inside the open petals and spreads softly around the room. In a large living room, pair it with recessed lights for brighter task light.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and hangs on a chain from a 12cm/4.7″ canopy, so we recommend a licensed electrician.
How do I clean the plaster finish?
With the light off and cool, dust the flowers and arms with a soft dry brush. Keep water and cleaning sprays off the plaster, and handle the petals gently.
