Cream Pudding Ceiling Lamp

The starting point was a set pudding turned out of its mould — the way the surface holds a soft, rounded edge that looks like it would give under a finger. We shaped the glass with that same slack curve and left it thick enough to read as cream rather than clear, so the diffuser looks full even before it's switched on. Only 3.9 inches deep, it sits close to the ceiling: a warm shape overhead instead of a fixture.

Three sizes, in two finishes. All three share the same 3.9″ (10cm) depth — only the diameter changes.

Pick the Ø12.5″ for an entry, closet, or small bathroom, the Ø15.7″ for a bedroom, hallway, or kitchen, and the Ø18.1″ for a living room or open area. The shallow profile makes it a straightforward answer for low ceilings, and the damp rating extends it to a bathroom or a covered porch or balcony ceiling. It can also mount on a wall, which is useful as a stairwell or corridor light. The glass spreads the light wide and soft, so it reads as general ambient light rather than a directed beam — add a task lamp where you need to read.
