The halogen bulb sits above your candle and melts it slowly from the top down, releasing fragrance evenly into the room. No smoke. No soot. No wax drips. Just the scent you chose, rising steadily while the lamp does its decorative job above it.

Before You Buy — Bulb Requirements

Halogen Bulb Only — LED Bulbs Will Not Work This lamp requires a 35W or 50W halogen bulb (GU10 base) to generate enough heat to melt the candle wax. Standard LED bulbs run cool by design and will not produce sufficient heat — they will light the lamp but will not melt anything. Halogen bulb and candle are sold separately.

Does a candle warmer lamp work with any jar candle?

Yes. It's made to melt standard large jar candles and 3-wicks up to about 4″ (10 cm) wide — including the ones you already own. There are no proprietary refills.

Is a candle warmer lamp really flameless and safe around kids and pets?

There's no wick and nothing burning — only a warm bulb above the wax — so it's far safer to leave on than an open flame. Place it on a stable surface and switch it off before bed if you prefer.

Will it melt the whole candle and stop tunneling?

Heat spreads across the top of the wax evenly, so the full pool melts instead of just the center. You get the fragrance from the entire candle rather than wasting the bottom inch.

How long until the wax melts and the fragrance releases?

Most candles begin to release scent within roughly 15–30 minutes as the top layer warms. Larger or deeper jars take a little longer to reach a full melt pool.

Is the candle warmer lamp bright enough to use as a light?
