Inspiration

The Skylisse Wall Sconce started with the turned spindles of painted cottage furniture — bedposts, stair rails, the leg of a nursery chair. Stacking those beads into a wall arm and finishing them in a soft powder blue gives the fixture a handmade, almost toy-like presence. The shade tips upward with a scalloped edge, so the fabric catches the light and throws it toward the ceiling rather than into your eyes. A pull chain keeps the gesture simple: reach up, and the room softens.

Yes — a 3000K warm white bulb is included. The single socket under the fabric shade fits E26 or E27 medium base bulbs, so replacements are easy to find.
How does it switch, and is it hardwired?
It switches with a pull chain on the fixture, so no wall switch is needed, and it is hardwired to a wall junction box. Professional installation is recommended, and it's rated for indoor dry locations only.
How high should I mount it?
For general use, set the backplate about 60–66″ (150–170 cm) from the floor. Beside a bed, mount it lower — roughly level with your shoulders when sitting up — so the pull chain is within reach.
