Inspiration

The Brimora borrows the shape mid-century designers kept returning to: a stem meeting a cap, the whole thing rounded rather than framed. Pressed up against a ceiling, that mushroom becomes a small wooden sphere at the top and a wide soft disk spreading below it — nothing sharp, nothing protruding. The olive-green option came from the muted, almost dusty greens turning up in kitchens and laundry rooms lately, kept quiet enough to sit beside walnut rather than compete with it.

Can the bulbs be replaced?

No — the LED is built in. Two 49W modules (98W total) are integrated and not user-serviceable, and there are no sockets or bulbs to buy. If the LED fails within the warranty period, the fixture or driver module is serviced or replaced. Plan for it as a long-life fixture; typical integrated-LED flush mounts run 30,000–50,000 hours.

Is it bright enough to be the only light in a room?

In a room up to about 150–200 sq ft, yes — 98W of LED is roughly five to seven old 100W bulbs, which covers a hallway, smaller bedroom, laundry room, or pantry on its own. In a large living room or kitchen, pair it with recessed cans or lamps for layered light.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

A powder room with no shower is fine. A full bathroom with a shower or tub isn't recommended, since the fixture isn't damp-rated — humidity over time can warp the walnut sphere, mottle the wood finish, and affect the LED driver. Email info@docos.us before ordering if you need a damp-rated version.

Which finish should I pick?

Pick by how much color you want in the room. Full Walnut is the safer choice where there's already a lot happening visually — it reads as an extension of the wood tones. Olive Green + Walnut works when the ceiling is one of the few places left to add character, and the muted olive stays quiet enough not to date quickly.
