Inspiration

Glacium takes a single tube of glass and bends it back on itself, so the light travels around a loop rather than sitting in one spot. The surface is reeded — fine vertical ribs that break the glow into narrow bands and hide the source entirely. Tinted cognac it reads warm, almost like whisky held to a window; in smoky gray it cools down and turns architectural. One form, two moods, depending on which tint you put on the wall.

Is it hardwired or plug-in?
Plug-in. It mounts to the wall on a backplate, then the 70.9″ (1.8 m) cord runs to a standard outlet — no junction box, no electrician. The inline on/off switch sits 35.4″ (90 cm) from the plug, so it stays within easy reach near the outlet rather than dangling at the fixture. Both sizes use the same cord, and its length is what limits how far from an outlet the sconce can sit.
What size should I choose, and how high do I mount it?
Two sizes: W3.5″ × H11.8″ and W4.7″ × H15.7″. Mount the backplate around 60–66″ from the floor for general wall use, or lower beside a bed so the glow lands at reading height. Both sizes work single or as a pair.
Are bulbs included, and what type?
Yes — 2 × G9 in warm white 3000K are included and fully replaceable. G9 is a small bi-pin base running at line voltage, so there's no transformer involved.
Can it go in a bathroom, and how do I clean it?
It's rated for indoor dry locations only, so keep it away from shower steam and out of covered outdoor spots. Wipe the glass and metal with a soft, dry cloth and skip harsh cleaners — the reeded surface holds dust in the grooves, so a soft brush helps.
