Inspiration

Navira starts from a single gesture: a straight arm reaching out from the wall, ending in a flower. The shade is scalloped like a petal edge and glazed in colors borrowed from old ceramics — navy, lavender, a chalky pink. Where most sconces fix the shade in place, this one pivots at the socket, so the flower can be turned toward whatever you're actually doing. Brass for the arm, ceramic or wood at the wall: three materials, no ornament beyond the shape itself.

What size is it, and where does it fit?
It stands about H8.7″ (22 cm) with a Ø4.7″ (12 cm) ceramic shade and roughly 8.7″ (22 cm) of wall projection — compact enough for a bedside, hallway, or reading corner, on its own or as a flanking pair beside a mirror or bed.
Is a bulb included, and what type?
Yes. It takes 1 × E27 — the standard medium screw base, so US E26 bulbs thread in too — and a warm white 3000K bulb is included and fully replaceable.
How is it installed, and can the light be angled?
It's hardwired to a wall junction box on a round backplate, and professional installation is recommended. The socket sits on an adjustable swivel joint, so the shade angle is set at install and can be changed later.
Can it go in a bathroom, and how do I clean it?
It's rated for indoor dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with shower steam and away from covered outdoor spots. Wipe the ceramic shade and brass arm with a soft, dry cloth and skip harsh cleaners.

Every Docos base is shaped, glazed, and fired by artisans with decades of practice. We fire our stoneware to 1300°C — nearly twice the heat of standard ceramics — giving each piece the density of stone and the smoothness of jade. No two are identical. None of them are accidents.
