The Ovela started from the paper lanterns strung over summer courtyards — round, weightless, glowing from the inside out. We rebuilt that shape in fabric: gored panels seamed into a full sphere, then split with a single horizontal line so the upper globe and lower dome read as two forms resting against each other. A woven tassel finishes the base, the way a lantern's cord always did. The result is soft and quiet overhead, more object than fixture.
Three sizes, each with matching diameter and height. The 150cm cord can be shortened at installation to set the hanging height.
