Inspiration

The Petalarch Floor Lamp started from a tall garden flower after a summer rain, its long stem bent over in a slow curve by the weight of the bloom, the petals hanging face down with their pleated edges just catching the light. It stays like that for a while, arched over the path, before the sun dries it out. We kept that bent stem and the drooping flower, made the stem a single long arc in a deep wood-brown tone, and turned the bloom into a pleated fabric shade with a scalloped hem.

Key Features
Pleated Petal Shade
A cream pleated fabric dome, 45cm/17.7″ wide, with a scalloped hem like the edge of a flower.
Sweeping Arc
A single long arc reaches 100cm/39.4″ across, so the shade hangs over a sofa or chair while the base stays beside it.
Walnut-Brown Finish
The metal arc and 30cm/11.8″ round base are finished in a deep walnut brown, with a brushed silver tip.

FAQ
Will it reach over my sofa?
The arc reaches 100cm/39.4″ across at a height of 165cm/65″, so with the base set beside or behind a sofa, sectional or armchair, the shade hangs over the seat or a coffee table. The 30cm/11.8″ round base takes up little floor space beside the sofa.
Is it good for reading?
Yes. The 45cm/17.7″ dome shade faces down, sending light onto a book or a lap, while the pleated fabric lets a soft glow into the room around it.
How do I clean the pleated shade?
Dust the pleats with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on low. Avoid water or sprays, which can mark the fabric.
Is a bulb included, and how do I turn it on?
Yes. It comes with one E26 or E27 bulb in warm 3000K light. E26 is the standard screw base used in the US. It plugs into a wall outlet and turns on with the foot switch on the 450cm/177″ cord.
