Inspiration

The Eryvon Pendant Light comes from a shade turned upside down. A cone normally sits over a bulb as a hood; invert it and the fabric becomes the lit surface, glowing from the wide rim down to the point where the finial closes it off. Nothing is aimed at anyone at the table, so the whole shape works as one soft source instead of a fixture with a bright spot in it. The wide, shallow profile suits mid-century modern, organic modern, and warm-minimalist rooms over a dining table or an entryway.
