Calista Pendant Light – Rattan Shade

Inspiration

The Calista Pendant Light is a pleated cotton-cord shade with a wavy, scalloped edge, capped by turned solid-wood beads and a small metal ring at the base. A single E27 bulb (LED included) glows warm through the cotton cord for soft, diffused ambient light, with a downward glow from the open scalloped base. Choose Ø15.7″ to Ø23.6″ to scale it over a dining table, kitchen island, bedroom, or entry. The cotton-cord scallop and wood beads read coastal, boho, farmhouse, and Japandi. Cotton cord and solid wood are natural, so tone and grain vary slightly per piece.

Use Case

The Calista reads as a coastal, boho pendant — a pleated cotton-cord shade with a wavy, scalloped edge, turned solid-wood beads, and a small metal ring with a wood-bead drop. A single E27 bulb glows warm through the cotton cord for soft, diffused ambient light with a downward glow, and the natural cotton cord and wood are a little different on every piece.

Use the Ø15.7″ in an entry, bedside, or nook, and scale up to the Ø23.6″ over a dining table or kitchen island. It hangs from a cord and hardwires to a standard ceiling box. The cotton-cord scallop and wood beads pair with linen, rattan, and warm neutral rooms — coastal, boho, farmhouse, and Japandi. A single cord shade gives soft, ambient light, so pair it with other lighting where you need brighter task light. Indoor dry only. Email info@docos.us for trade pricing or help choosing a size.

FAQ

What sizes does it come in?

Three sizes — Ø15.7×H6.3″, Ø19.7×H7.9″, and Ø23.6×H9.4″ (Ø40×H16 / Ø50×H20 / Ø60×H24 cm). Choose the size at checkout.

What bulb does it use — is it included?

It uses 1 × E27. E27 is cross-compatible with the standard US E26 base, so US E26 replacements thread right in. An E27 LED bulb is included and fully replaceable, in warm white.

What’s the light like — is it bright?

The pleated cotton-cord shade with a single E27 gives a soft, diffused ambient glow with a downward glow from the open scalloped base — not bright task light. Pair it with other lighting where you need brighter, directed light.

Will mine look exactly like the photo?

The cotton cord and solid wood are natural, so the tone, texture, and grain vary slightly per piece — yours will be a little different from the photo. That variation is the nature of the materials, not a defect.

How is it installed, and can it go in a bathroom?

It’s hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box and hangs from a cord; a licensed electrician is recommended. It’s certified for North America, Australia, Europe & the Middle East (110–240V). Indoor dry only — natural cotton cord isn’t damp-rated, so not a bathroom with shower steam or outdoors.
