Which size should I choose — small or large?

The small size suits hallways, bedside placements, reading nooks, and walls under 9 ft tall. The large size suits taller walls, staircase landings, primary bedrooms with high ceilings, or any spot where the sconce needs to read as a statement piece. When in doubt, mount painter's tape on the wall in the fixture's footprint to check scale before committing.

What bulb does it use?

One B-type candelabra bulb with an E12 base — the small flame-shape or torpedo-shape bulb commonly sold as "B11 candelabra". Maximum 40W per socket. A bulb is included with the fixture.
