La Lámpara Colgante Mervane toma su forma de la cerámica construida con bobinas, donde una vasija se levanta apilando rollos de arcilla uno encima del otro. La mayoría de los alfareros alisan esas bobinas; dejarlas es lo que le da a esta pantalla sus tres anillos hinchados y su ligera inclinación descentrada. Una perla torneada se asienta en la parte superior donde el cable se encuentra con la piedra, cerrando la línea en lugar de ocultar la unión. La forma evoca wabi-sabi, Japandi, u modernismo orgánico sobre una isla de cocina, una mesilla de noche o una mesa de comedor.
