Al dividir la longitud en cuatro bloques de nogal separados y dejar un espacio entre cada uno, se transforma la percepción de la pieza — la vista sigue un ritmo en lugar de una línea, y el grano oscuro de las juntas se muestra en cada unión, anunciando la madera como material en lugar de como simple envolvente. Más cercano a una hilera de objetos sólidos suspendidos que a una barra de luz.
