La Lámpara de Mesa Velric adopta la forma de una ánfora, la jarra de dos asas que transportaba aceite y vino alrededor del Mediterráneo. El cuello estrechado y el par de anillos en el hombro son las partes que la hacían levantable, aquí conservadas como el perfil de la base en lugar de algo para agarrar. Una pantalla de papel se coloca arriba en un tallo corto de madera, permitiendo que la luz pase a través de la lámina en lugar de solo derramarse por los extremos. Se percibe como wabi-sabi, Japandi, o minimalismo cálido en una mesilla de noche, una consola, o una mesa auxiliar de sala.
Lado a lado, la pantalla blanco roto se ve más brillante y neutra, mientras que la pantalla marrón claro tiene un tono más cálido y ligeramente más profundo — ambas se sitúan sobre la misma base de travertino y tallo de madera que se muestran aquí.
