La Lámpara Colgante Sylvarra surge de observar la luz atravesando una hoja — densa en las venas, radiante en los bordes. La madera de tilo se corta lo suficientemente fina para ser translúcida, luego se superpone pétalo sobre pétalo para que cada solapamiento sea un tono más oscuro que el anterior. El herraje de latón en el centro es intencionadamente pequeño; la madera es la luminaria completa. Cuando está encendida, la pantalla brilla desde adentro y proyecta sombras en forma de hoja en el techo alrededor de ella.
Dos tamaños — el pequeño es más alto y estrecho (individual, entrada o pareja para mesita de noche); el grande es amplio y bajo (sobre una mesa o isla).
