What are the dimensions of this pendant lamp?

Three sizes are available: Small is 40cm diameter × 20cm height (15.7″ × 7.9″); Medium is 50cm diameter × 25cm height (19.7″ × 9.8″); Large is 60cm diameter × 30cm height (23.6″ × 11.8″). The canopy is 12cm (4.7″) diameter on all sizes.

How long is the cord and can it be adjusted?

The cord is 150cm (59″) long and adjustable at installation inside the canopy, so you can shorten it to fit your ceiling height.

What bulb does this lamp use and is it included?

It uses one E26 or E27 bulb base and a warm-light bulb is included. For replacements, use LED only up to 12W to keep the cotton cool; a frosted A19 bulb keeps the glow even.

How is this lamp installed?

It is hardwired and the canopy mounts to a standard ceiling junction box. The adjustable cord is shortened inside the canopy during installation.

How do I clean this lamp?

Dust the cord with a soft brush or low vacuum—no water. Wipe the metal with a dry microfiber cloth.

Which size should I choose for my space?

Inspiration

The Lorvane Pendant Lamp is a two-tier raffia skirt hung from the ceiling. A wide drum sits over a narrower one, and both are dressed the same way: hundreds of lengths of natural cotton cord laid straight up and down over a plain iron ring, packed so close that the surface reads as fine vertical pleats, the way a grass skirt falls when it is shaken out. The bottom tier steps in from the top one by a hand's width, so the two rims make a double hem. Lit, the cord glows oat-white with a darker line between every strand, and light spills out of the open bottom and the gap between the two tiers.

Which size for my room?

Where does the light go?

Both tiers are open top and bottom, so light falls down onto the table and up to the ceiling, with a soft glow through the cord and a brighter ring at the step. Ambient light rather than a task light.

How high should it hang?

Over a table set the lower rim about 75–85cm/30–34″ above the top; in an open room keep it at least 210cm/83″ off the floor. Shorten the 150cm/59″ cord inside the canopy at install.

Which bulb should I use?

A warm-light bulb is included. Use LED only for replacements, up to 12W, so the cotton stays cool; a frosted A19 keeps the glow even across the strands.
