Il Merrow Chandelier nasce dall'idea di una trave piuttosto che di una lampada — due lunghezze di legno impilate e sospese su cavi, nel modo in cui i membri strutturali si trovano sopra una stanza. Curvare il lato inferiore della trave di noce trasforma il legno stesso nel diffusore, così il LED non si vede come una linea di punti, e l'accoppiamento di noce scura contro frassino pallido fa sì che i due travi si leggano come pezzi di legno separati piuttosto che un corpo stampato.
Lasciare circa 6–12″ di spazio libero a ciascuna estremità della lampada per equilibrio visivo, e appendere il fondo a 30–36″ (75–90 cm) dalla superficie del tavolo o dell'isola.
La Merrow funziona come lampadario lineare sopra un tavolo da pranzo, come long pendant su un'isola cucina o come illuminazione d'accento sopra una scrivania per home office — abbina la lunghezza alla superficie che illumina. Abbinala a mobili in noce o rovere, sedute in pelle e hardware in metallo caldo. Su un soffitto bianco o chiaro il noce si legge come una linea architettonica scura; su soffitti scuri o rivestiti in legno si fonde nella struttura. Con un dimmer, il flusso massimo è perfetto per cucinare e lavorare, mentre una luce ridotta la trasforma in illuminazione da cena.
