The rattan weave diffuses the light, so even a brighter bulb reads soft rather than sharp - it is ambient light for a bedside or console, not task light for reading or detailed work.

Baskora Table Light

Q: Which size should I pick?

Model A (W15.7 x H14.1 in) is wider and lower - better on a deep console, sideboard, or low nightstand. Model B (W14.9 x H15.7 in) is taller and narrower, so it clears a small nightstand or a shelf without crowding it.

Inspiration

Baskora comes from basketry rather than lighting — the woven forms that sit on a floor or a table because that's what a woven vessel does. Body and shade are made the same way, in the same material, so the lamp reads as one continuous object with a seam rather than a base holding a shade. The weave earns its place twice: as texture in daylight, and as the thing the light has to pass through after dark.

Key Features

Woven Rattan, Body and Shade

Base and tapered shade are woven in the same natural rattan, so the silhouette holds together as one form instead of two parts.

Grounded Rounded Base

A full rounded body gives the lamp visual weight at the bottom, which keeps the tapered shade above it looking light rather than top-heavy.

Plug-In with Push-Button Switch

Ships ready to use — a 59″ cord with plug and a push-button switch on the fixture, no wiring and no wall switch needed.

Where It Works

Baskora is a bedside, console, or sideboard lamp — anywhere a warm pool of light matters more than reach, and where the object is on show as much as the light is. The weave filters the output into a soft, textured glow, so it reads as atmosphere rather than task light; pair it with a table lamp elsewhere or a floor lamp if you read in the same chair. Model A is the wider, lower of the two and sits well on a deep console or a low nightstand; Model B is taller and narrower, which suits tight nightstands and shelf corners. FAQ

Which size should I pick?

They're close in volume but differ in proportion. Model A (W15.7″ × H14.1″) is wider and lower — better on a deep console, sideboard, or low nightstand. Model B (W14.9″ × H15.7″) is taller and narrower, so it clears a small nightstand or a shelf without crowding it.

Is the bulb included, and what type?

Yes — one warm-light 3000K bulb. The socket takes any standard E26 or E27 medium screw-base bulb up to 40W incandescent or the LED equivalent, so replacements are easy to find anywhere.

How is it turned on and off?

A push-button switch on the fixture itself. It plugs into any standard outlet with a 59″ cord, so no wall switch or wiring is involved.

How bright is it?

The rattan weave diffuses the light, so even a brighter bulb reads soft rather than sharp — it's ambient light for a bedside or console, not task light for reading or detailed work. For a brighter room, layer it with a second lamp.

Will every lamp look identical to the photo?

Close, but not identical. The rattan is woven by hand, so weave density and the natural color of the fibre vary subtly between pieces. The silhouette and overall tone stay consistent.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No — indoor use only. Rattan absorbs humidity over time, which causes warping and discoloration, so keep it out of bathrooms and covered outdoor areas.
