Mirella Pendant Light – Rattan

Inspiration

The Mirella Pendant Light is a two-tier raffia drum shade on an adjustable cord, with a solid-wood ceiling canopy. A single E27 bulb (9W LED, 3000K) glows warm through the woven raffia for soft, diffused ambient light, with a downward glow from the open base. Choose Ø15.7″ to Ø23.6″ to scale it over a dining table, kitchen island, bedroom, or entry. The woven raffia and wood canopy read coastal, boho, farmhouse, and Japandi. Raffia is hand-woven natural grass, so the weave and tone vary slightly per piece.

A single E27 (9W) glows warm through the raffia for soft, diffused ambient light with a downward glow from the open base — over a dining table or in a bedroom, not bright task light. Raffia is a natural grass and the canopy is solid wood, so the weave, tone, and grain vary slightly per piece (each is unique, not a defect), and the shade is delicate — keep it indoor and dry, dust gently, and don’t get it wet. Socket is E27 (medium screw base) and accepts standard US E26; an E27 9W LED bulb is included and replaceable, 3000K warm white. The cord adjusts to about 59″ (150 cm), and it’s hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box; certified for North America, Australia, Europe & the Middle East (110–240V); licensed electrician recommended. Indoor dry locations only.

Use Case

The Mirella reads as a coastal, boho pendant — a two-tier woven raffia drum shade with a solid-wood ceiling canopy. A single E27 9W (3000K) bulb glows warm through the raffia for soft, diffused ambient light with a downward glow, and the natural raffia and wood are a little different on every piece.

Use the Ø15.7″ in an entry, bedroom, or nook, and scale up to the Ø23.6″ over a dining table or kitchen island. The cord adjusts to about 59″, and it hardwires to a standard ceiling box with a solid-wood canopy. The woven raffia and wood pair with linen, rattan, and warm neutral rooms — coastal, boho, farmhouse, and Japandi. The two-tier woven shade gives ambient light, so pair it with other lighting where you need brighter task light. Indoor dry only. Email info@docos.us for trade pricing or help choosing a size.

FAQ

What sizes does it come in?

Three sizes — Ø15.7×H7.1″, Ø19.7×H8.7″, and Ø23.6×H10.2″ (Ø40×H18 / Ø50×H22 / Ø60×H26 cm). Choose the size at checkout.

What bulb does it use — wattage and color?

It uses 1 × E27 and comes with a 9W LED bulb in 3000K warm white, included. E27 is cross-compatible with the standard US E26 base, so US E26 replacements thread right in; the bulb is fully replaceable.

What’s the light like — is it bright?

The two-tier woven raffia shade with a single E27 gives a soft, diffused ambient glow with a downward glow from the open base — not bright task light. Pair it with other lighting where you need brighter, directed light.

Will mine look exactly like the photo?

Raffia is a hand-woven natural grass and the canopy is solid wood, so the weave, tone, and grain vary slightly per piece — yours will be a little different from the photo. That variation is the nature of the materials, not a defect.

How is it installed, and can it go in a bathroom?

It’s hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box with a solid-wood canopy and an adjustable cord (to ~59″); a licensed electrician is recommended. It’s certified for North America, Australia, Europe & the Middle East (110–240V). Indoor dry only — natural raffia isn’t damp-rated, so not a bathroom with shower steam or outdoors.
