The Rockford アラバスター ウォールランプ extends a hook-shaped 真鍮 arm from a round backplate, dropping a twisted cord down to a wood-tipped socket that holds a flared Spanish アラバスター shade. The bulb sits exposed just below the alabaster rim rather than fully enclosed. At W16 × H16cm, it works well as a bedside sconce, a hallway accent light, or a pair flanking a mirror in a mid-century modern space.

Hand-cut alabaster lighting that glows from within — chandeliers, pendants, sconces, and lamps, each carved from a single block of natural stone.
Alabaster can't be moulded or mass-pressed — it is cut. Every shade starts as solid stone and is worked by hand until it's thin enough to glow evenly. That's why no two are the same.
Blocks of natural alabaster are extracted and graded for translucency and the quality of their veining before any cutting begins.
Each block is sliced and turned or carved to form, then hollowed so a bulb can sit behind the stone wall.
The walls are sanded to an even thickness so light passes through without dark patches, then polished by hand.
Fitted with brass hardware and wired to a 120V, safety-certified build, then inspected before it ships.
Raw alabaster blocks and hand-turned shades in our workshop — each piece is cut, hollowed, and finished by hand before it is wired and shipped.
Light passes through the stone itself — the lit-from-inside quality you can't get from glass or acrylic.
Cut from a solid block, so the cloud-like veining is its own. No two alabaster fixtures are identical.
The stone scatters light rather than aiming it. Pair with a 2700K bulb; most fixtures dim on a compatible LED dimmer.

Switched off, an alabaster fixture is a quiet stone object. Switched on, the whole piece glows — sculpture you happen to be able to turn on.
Chandeliers, pendants, sconces, table and floor lamps — all cut from natural alabaster, most paired with brass. Dozens of pieces in all.
Hang a linear pendant or chandelier roughly 30–36″ above the surface. For a 6–8′ island, size the fixture or cluster to about two-thirds the counter length.
Two-story spaces suit a tiered chandelier — Corbett or Miira. Keep the lowest point at least 7′ off the floor in a walkway.
A wall sconce — Ando, Marmo, Velora — frees the nightstand and adds the soft accent layer. Plug-in versions skip the hardwiring.
A table lamp — Marie, Pico — anchors a reading corner with warm light beside your overheads.

Alabaster is a solid, fine-grained stone with real weight — not fragile in normal use. It is softer than marble, so avoid knocks and harsh chemical cleaners. A soft, dry cloth keeps it looking right for years.
No — and that's by design. Each shade is cut from natural stone, so the veining and tone are unique to your piece. The product photo shows a representative example; yours will have its own distinct veining.
Use a 2700K warm-white LED to bring out the honeyed, candle-like tone in the stone. Cooler bulbs make alabaster look gray. Most fixtures take an E26 or G9 base — check the product page — and dim with a compatible LED dimmer.
