Solid Wood Lighting
Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.

Why Wood Lighting?
Wood diffuses warm 2700K light across its grain — no glare, no clinical glow. Every bulb feels like late-afternoon sun.
Tonal variation, knots, and grain patterns are signatures, not flaws. Your lamp will be subtly its own — and only yours.
We use FSC-certified North American hardwoods and finish with low-VOC oils. Built to last decades, not seasons.
From measurement to finish, woodworking demands a balance of structure and patience. Every cut is squared, every joint dry-fit, every surface hand-sanded to 220 grit before oiling.
Each curve is shaped to honor the grain, not fight it. The result isn't just a lamp — it's a story of patience, passed from craftsman to customer through a single block of wood.
Choose Your Grain
Most Docos pieces are offered in the four hardwoods below. Pick the species that suits your room — they age beautifully, each in their own way.
Open grain, golden tone. The most versatile pick — pairs with every interior style.
Deep chocolate hues, ribbon grain. Statement-piece energy in any room.
Light, airy, almost Scandinavian. Works in bright minimal interiors.
Develops a deeper patina with age — the longer you own it, the better it looks.
Naturally Warm Ambience
Wood's organic surface filters and softens illumination — reducing glare, casting a warm, diffused glow. Beyond the look, it adds a tactile, sensory depth you simply can't get from metal or plastic.
The result: every lamp becomes a small architectural moment, not just a fixture.

From Our Customers
"The walnut grain is beautiful — better than the photos. It's the first thing every guest comments on."
"Soft, warm light without that yellow tint. Feels like candlelight but easier."
"Packed beautifully, arrived perfectly. You can tell someone actually made it — not a factory."

Took like 20 min to set up.
Bought another for the entryway, just as good.
Exactly what we wanted.
Looks way pricier than it was, great room looks so much better.
The wood base is solid, matches our staircase railing perfectly.
The pleated shade looks gorgeous in the great room.
Was worried it'd be too big but nope. The pleated shade is wider than I expected in a good way.
Def recommend this one.
Light comes through the shade really soft and warm.
