Inspiration

The Ovela started from the paper lanterns strung over summer courtyards — round, weightless, glowing from the inside out. We rebuilt that shape in fabric: gored panels seamed into a full sphere, then split with a single horizontal line so the upper globe and lower dome read as two forms resting against each other. A woven tassel finishes the base, the way a lantern's cord always did. The result is soft and quiet overhead, more object than fixture.

Key Features

Gored Linen Lantern Shade

Fabric panels seamed into a round linen lantern that diffuses the bulb into an even glow.

Split-Dome Silhouette

A visible split line divides the upper globe from the lower dome, adding depth to the shape.

Woven Tassel Detail

A woven tassel hangs from the base, finishing the lantern shape.
