De Tersus alabaster wandlamp ontstond uit een eenvoudige vraag: wat als het steen zelf het licht zou zijn in plaats van alleen een afscherming? Een messingbalk loopt plat tegen de muur en een ronde Spaanse alabasten trommel onderbreekt hem halverwege, zodat de muur zelf onderdeel van de armatuur wordt — licht erboven, licht eronder, en de gekleurde aders zichtbaar ertussenin. De verhoudingen blijven bewust smal, meer als architectonische sierlijn dan als decoratieve wandlamp, zodat een paar als onderdeel van de muur leest in plaats van als twee afzonderlijke objecten.
Eén maat — smal genoeg voor één wandlamp in een entree of gang, of om in een flankerend paar te monteren.

Hand-cut alabaster lighting that glows from within — chandeliers, pendants, sconces, and lamps, each carved from a single block of natural stone.
Alabaster can't be moulded or mass-pressed — it is cut. Every shade starts as solid stone and is worked by hand until it's thin enough to glow evenly. That's why no two are the same.
Blocks of natural alabaster are extracted and graded for translucency and the quality of their veining before any cutting begins.
Each block is sliced and turned or carved to form, then hollowed so a bulb can sit behind the stone wall.
The walls are sanded to an even thickness so light passes through without dark patches, then polished by hand.
Fitted with brass hardware and wired to a 120V, ETL-compliant build, then inspected before it ships.

Alabaster is a solid, fine-grained stone with real weight — not fragile in normal use. It is softer than marble, so avoid knocks and harsh chemical cleaners. A soft, dry cloth keeps it looking right for years.
No — and that's by design. Each shade is cut from natural stone, so the veining and tone are unique to your piece. The product photo shows a representative example; yours will have its own distinct veining.
Use a 2700K warm-white LED to bring out the honeyed, candle-like tone in the stone. Cooler bulbs make alabaster look gray. Most fixtures take an E26 or G9 base — check the product page — and dim with a compatible LED dimmer.
