The Bellerin Plug-In Pendant Light takes the scalloped edge of a woven basket and turns it into a dome. Panels of abaca fiber are stretched between thin black metal ribs, so the frame draws the petal outline while the weave carries the glow, and a turned wood finial closes the top the way a lid would. Hanging it from hooks rather than a junction box was part of the idea, not a compromise — the cord drapes into a swag, which is how these shades were used long before ceilings had wiring.
Three sizes — the shade width changes; height and cord length are the same on all.
