Inspiration

The Blosswyn Chandelier started from an old white-painted iron arbor at the back of a cottage garden, the paint worn thin where hands and weather had rubbed it, with a climbing vine wound all through it. By late spring the vine is covered in small leaves and pink flowers that open in every direction along the branches. We kept the chipped white branches twisting around each other, added small gold leaves along them, and made each flower from pink and white glass with a light inside.

Hand-distressed finish

The white finish is worn by hand to look aged, and the pink swirl in each glass flower forms differently. Small differences in tone and pattern from the photos are part of the piece.

Where will it fit?
At Ø 23.6″ x H 28.3″, it suits a bedroom, a nursery, a dressing room or a round table for four. Over a table it works with standard 8 ft ceilings; in a walkway or entryway, a ceiling of 9 ft or higher leaves more headroom.
Is the worn look on purpose?
Yes. The white finish is distressed by hand so the metal shows through in places, the way old painted iron wears over time. It varies slightly from piece to piece. Dust it with a dry brush rather than scrubbing it.
What kind of bulbs does it use?
Each flower holds one G9 bulb, and the bulbs are included in warm 3000K light. G9 is a small bi-pin bulb, so use the same type when you replace one.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and hangs on a chain, so we recommend a licensed electrician for installation. Because of the many glass flowers, plan for two people to hang it.
