Inspiration

The Caelion Chandelier goes back to the oldest chandelier there is: a plain iron hoop hung from the ceiling with candles set around it. Here the candle cups are cut as stone half-bowls and tipped alternately in and out, so the ring reads as a circle of small vessels rather than a solid band. Every flame points up, which throws the light onto the ceiling and lets it come back down soft over a table. It fits organic modern, wabi-sabi, and transitional dining rooms, and holds a two-storey entryway without filling it.

Key Features

Travertine Cup Shades
Each socket sits in a half-bowl cut from natural travertine, with the stone's open pitting running across every cup.
Alternating Ring Layout
Cups alternate between the outer and inner edge of the ring, so the fixture keeps a low 11cm/4.3″ height at any head count.
Nickel Ring, 170cm Adjustable
A nickel-plated iron ring on three suspension lines, each shortened at installation to set the drop.
Good To Know

!
Natural Stone VariationTravertine is quarried, not manufactured. Tone and the size and pattern of the surface pitting differ from piece to piece, including between the cups on one ring, so no fixture matches the product photos exactly.

No. 02 — The Material

A stone that took two thousand years to arrive.

Travertine forms over millennia as mineral-rich spring water layers into solid stone. No two sections look alike — each piece carries its own trace of pores, veins, and color drift. The irregularities you see aren't imperfections. They're the stone's fingerprint.

No. 03

Four reasons
travertine feels different.

A growing number of US homes are swapping cold metal and glossy finishes for materials with real presence. Here's what makes this stone hold up to that shift — and why it holds up in a room.

01 / 04

One-of-a-kind texture

Every piece carries its own pattern of pores, veins, and soft color shifts. Shaped over millennia — not printed, not stamped. The lamp on your table is, by nature, unique.

02 / 04

Warm, lived-in tones

Natural cream, sand, and honey hues that read warm in any light — from morning sun to the last lamp-lit hour of the evening. The color the stone brings to the room doesn't read dated five years later.

03 / 04

Real stone, real weight

You feel it the moment you pick one up. Solid in the hand, grounded on the table. Nothing hollow, nothing plastic trying to imitate the surface of something it isn't.

04 / 04

Built to age well

Travertine softens beautifully with time. A lamp today, a piece that looks even better in ten years. The kind of purchase that earns its price instead of dating itself.

No. 04 — On Craft

"Every lamp is cut from a single block of natural travertine, then hand-finished until the surface is smooth to the touch but still honest about what it is — real stone, not composite, not resin."

No. 05 — Placement

Where travertine lighting belongs.

Each room has a spot that changes when a piece of stone lands in it. Three placements we keep seeing work.

No. 06 — Film Reel — Stone & Light

See how the stone
warms the light.

A diffused, honey-toned glow — softened once by the shade, and again by the stone around it.
