Inspiration

The Confettora Pendant Lamp came from the end of a birthday party: a frosted glass cake plate with a scalloped edge, left on the table under the lamp, with paper confetti in pink, blue, yellow and orange stuck all over it. With the light shining through, the whole plate glowed like a little lantern. We turned it upside down, kept every fleck of confetti, and hung it from the ceiling.

Will it work with a lower ceiling?
Yes. The shade is only 16cm/6.3″ tall, and the 100cm/39.4″ chain can be shortened, so you can hang it close to the ceiling in a bedroom or kids’ room.
How bright is it?
It holds 2 × E26 or E27 bulbs, included, in Warm Light (3000K). The frosted glass glows all over and the confetti flecks light up, so it works as the main light in a bedroom or kids’ room.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box under a 12cm/4.7″ canopy, so we recommend a licensed electrician. It weighs about 4kg/8.8 lb, so make sure the junction box is rated to hold it.
How do I clean it?
With the light off and cool, wipe the glass with a soft dry cloth and dust the white trim and chain with a soft brush.
