Delune Pendant Light

Overview

The Delune Pendant Light is a hardwired ceiling pendant with a white pleated-fabric shade drawn into a six-petal scalloped silhouette. A short turned wood neck connects the shade to a gold-toned metal canopy above, and a small wood pull-style finial finishes the bottom of the shade.

The shade is fabric over a metal frame; the canopy is gold-toned metal; the neck and finial are solid wood. Three E27 sockets sit inside the shade — significantly brighter than the single-socket pendants in this size range. The cord is adjustable, so you can shorten the drop for low ceilings or leave it long for vaulted spaces. Suits cottage, vintage-coastal, organic-modern, and Japandi-leaning interiors.

Key Features
Pleated Six-Petal Fabric Shade
Vertical pleats run from the top of the shade down to a six-petal scalloped hem. The pleats are sewn over a metal frame — the structure holds the silhouette without rigid plastic inserts.
Three E27 Sockets
Triple-socket cluster inside the shade — three E27 bulbs combine to produce noticeably more output than a single-socket pendant of the same size, suited to lighting an entire dining table or breakfast nook.
Wood Neck + Wood Finial
A short turned-wood neck sits between the fabric shade and the metal canopy; a matching wood finial pulls down from the bottom of the shade. Two warm wood accents framing the fabric.
Adjustable Cord Drop
The cord can be shortened by your electrician at install — drop the shade close to a dining tabletop, or hang it lower in a stairwell or two-story foyer.
Single-Tone Warm-White Light
Designed for warm-white E27 bulbs only — a single color temperature that pulls out the natural warmth of the wood accents against the white fabric.
Gold-Toned Metal Canopy
The gold-toned metal canopy mounts the fixture to a standard ceiling junction box, finishing the cord-to-ceiling transition without exposed hardware.
Light Through Pleats + Petals

Two structural details — the vertical pleats and the scalloped hem — work together to shape the light Delune throws.

Through · Pleats
Soft alternating bands
Light passing through the woven fabric is softened to a warm diffuse glow; the pleat ridges break that glow into subtle alternating bands of brighter and softer fabric, giving the shade visual depth from across the room.
Down · Scallops
Petal-edge light pattern
The six-petal scalloped hem leaves the bottom of the shade open — when the lights are on, you see a defined warm pool below the pendant with a gently scalloped edge cast on the dining table or floor.

Installation
Hardwired Pendant · Indoor Dry Use Only Delune is a hardwired pendant that mounts to a standard ceiling junction box — not a plug-in light. The cord can be shortened during install to set the shade height, and the drop is fixed once mounted. We recommend a licensed electrician for the wiring. Because the shade is fabric and the accents are natural wood, the pendant is rated for indoor dry locations only — please don't install it over a kitchen sink, in a bathroom, or on a covered porch where humidity collects. Dust the pleats with a soft brush; wipe wood accents with a dry cloth.

Where It Works

Delune's three-bulb output and wide pleated shade make this fabric pendant light for dining room use a fitting overhead for a small to mid-sized dining table — hang it 30–34″ above the tabletop so the bottom of the shade clears sight-lines across the table. The scalloped hem casts a soft petal-edged pool of warm light onto the table surface, giving meals a candlelit quality without the actual candles.

In a bedroom, hang Delune over a bedside reading area or as a centerpiece above a low platform bed, where its softly rounded silhouette reads as a decorative object rather than a flush lighting solution. In a breakfast nook or small café/boutique interior, the pleated-fabric-and-wood combination pairs naturally with linen banquettes, oak tables, and bouclé chairs for a layered, lived-in look. Delune is an ambient pendant — for kitchen-island prep work or focused tasks, pair it with under-cabinet task lighting or a separate dedicated chandelier or pendant cluster.

FAQ
How many bulbs does it use? What kind?
Three E27 medium-base bulbs sit in a cluster inside the shade. E27 is the standard medium screw base used across most of Europe and in many globally-sourced US fixtures (most E27 LEDs fit a US E26 socket interchangeably). Use warm-white bulbs only — Delune is designed around a single warm color temperature, not daylight or cool-white bulbs, which would clash with the fabric and wood tones.
How bright is it compared to a single-bulb pendant?
With three bulbs, Delune produces noticeably more light than a similarly sized single-socket pendant — enough to act as the main overhead light for a small to mid-sized dining table or breakfast nook, where a single-socket pendant of this diameter would feel underlit. For larger dining tables (over 60″), pair Delune with additional fixtures or under-cabinet/wall-mounted task lighting.
What's the right hanging height over a dining table?
For dining tables, 30–34″ from the bottom of the shade to the tabletop is the standard range — close enough that the light pools warmly on the table surface, high enough to clear sight-lines across to the person opposite. For an entryway or stairwell, drop it lower as a sculptural focal point. The adjustable cord gives you room to position it in either case.
Will every shade look identical to the photo?
Close, but not identical. The shade is sewn and pleated by hand over a metal frame, so the spacing of pleats and the scallop curve vary subtly between pieces. The overall silhouette and white tone stay consistent; the fabric character is what differs unit to unit.
Does it work with a dimmer?
Yes, with the right bulbs. Use three E27 LED bulbs explicitly labeled "dimmable" and pair the fixture with an LED-compatible wall dimmer. All three bulbs must be dimmable and compatible — mixing dimmable and non-dimmable bulbs in the same fixture causes flicker.
Can I install it myself?
Delune is hardwired and mounts to a standard ceiling junction box. If you've installed a pendant before — including shortening the cord to set the drop height — you can install Delune. Otherwise, hire a licensed electrician. Always shut off the breaker at the panel before working on the fixture.
Can I use it in a bathroom or covered porch?
No. Both the fabric shade and the wood accents will absorb humidity over time, leading to fabric discoloration, sagging pleats, possible mildew, and wood warping. Delune is rated for indoor dry locations only — dining rooms, bedrooms, breakfast nooks, hallways, and similar dry interior spaces.
How do I clean the pleated shade?
Dust along the pleats with a soft brush or a low-suction vacuum on an upholstery attachment. For a stain or mark, blot — don't rub — with a clean, slightly damp cloth and let the fabric air-dry fully before turning the lights back on. Avoid soaking the linen.
