The Duovera Wall Sconce started from two scoops of gelato pressed together in a cup on a summer afternoon: pistachio sitting on vanilla, mint resting on blueberry, each scoop round and glossy and touching the next. We turned the scoops into two glass globes, kept them close with a thin metal rail, and set them on a piece of solid wood the way the cup sat on a wooden counter.
