The Mavora Table Lamp takes its base from a slice of layered earth. Bands of color run around the metal body the way strata run through a canyon wall — in Style A, an egg-shaped base in moss, olive, and rust; in Style B, a straight cylinder in sage, cream, and berry with the bands drifting like sand dunes. A plain fabric shade in cream sits on top, an empire cone on A and a drum on B, so the base does all the talking. Lit from within, the shade glows warm and the colors below read like glazed pottery, which is why this color-banded table lamp with fabric shade was designed for a bedside, dresser, or living room side table in boho and mid-century rooms.
