Papilora Pendant Light

The Papilora Pendant Light is a single-bulb brass butterfly pendant with a curved solid-brass arm and two cast-brass butterflies perched on the stem, lit by one glass shade below on a 59-inch adjustable cord. Choose from nine shade styles — ruffled white jade, amber crackle glass, ribbed blown glass, frosted, or a rose-embossed bell — in widths from 5.9 to 9.8 inches. The smaller shades suit a vintage-style mini pendant light for bedroom nightstands and entryways, while the wider white jade bowls give ambient lighting over a dining table or kitchen island in farmhouse, French country, and grandmillennial rooms. Bulb included.

Every style hangs from the same brass butterfly arm on a 59″ / 150 cm adjustable cord. Shade width and overall height vary by style — full sizes for all nine below.

With one socket per fixture, the Papilora works as accent and ambient light rather than a room's main source. The 5.9″–7.1″ shades make a brass mini pendant for bedroom nightstands, a narrow entryway, or a powder room — hang one on each side of a bed in place of table lamps to free up the nightstand. The wider 8.7″–9.8″ white jade bowls give more spread for ambient lighting over a kitchen island or a dining table; hang two or three in a row over a longer table.

Match the shade to the room: white jade and frosted styles read clean for farmhouse and transitional spaces, while amber crackle and rose-embossed glass lean vintage and grandmillennial. Use a warm-white 2700K bulb for a soft glow, and a dimmable bulb if you want to lower it in the evening. White jade and crackle glass are molded and finished by hand, so small color variations and faint swirls are characteristic of the glass, not defects.
