Spindle Alabaster Cluster Chandelier

A spindle alabaster cluster chandelier for double-height foyers, stairwells, and architectural entryways. Each 3.9″ × 7.9″ shade is hand-carved from natural alabaster into a bellied spindle form — a cone cap tapering out to a wide middle, then drawing back to a flat base. Matte-black metal hardware on a black canopy. G9 base. 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11-light spiral drops from 59″ up to 138″.

Installation Notes

Hardwired ceiling install — a licensed electrician is recommended.
Cables shorten on-site; for drops beyond the standard max, request extended cable when ordering.
Sloped ceiling compatible up to 15°; steeper pitches ship with a free sloped-ceiling adapter — send pitch angle when ordering.
For two-story stairwells, the 9 or 11-light falls through the well so spindle shades read at both floors.
We recommend a 3–5W G9 LED in 2700K warm white per shade to preserve the alabaster's natural color and light the wide belly evenly.
Alabaster is a natural stone — small surface variations and color veining are inherent and not defects.

How does this compare to the cube, faceted, and pavilion alabaster chandeliers?

Same SKU sizes, same G9 + matte-black hardware system, four shade silhouettes — pick by interior tone. Spindle (this one) is a bellied form — a cone cap, a wide middle, and a flat base — soft and sculptural. Cube is a 4.7″ flat-faced six-sided cube, geometric and grid-like. Faceted is a 3.9″ × 7.9″ gem-cut diamond, angular faces that refract light. Pavilion is a hipped-roof lantern, a pitched cap above an open body. Pick spindle for soft sculptural curves, cube for straight lines, faceted for shimmer, pavilion for pitched-roof character.

Which size fits my room?

8–10 ft single-story foyer: 3 or 5-light. Standard two-story stairwell (~16 ft well): 7 or 9-light. Tall stairwells or 20+ ft foyers: 11-light. Email us your ceiling height for a free layout.

What G9 bulb should I use? Is it dimmable?

G9 base, max 5W LED recommended. A 3–5W G9 LED in 2700K warm white preserves the alabaster's natural color and lights the wide belly evenly. Avoid cool-white above 3000K — it flattens the stone tone. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer.

How do I install this on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?

Standard canopies fit flat ceilings or pitches up to 15°. For steeper slopes — common over open stairwells — a sloped-ceiling adapter ships free. Send the pitch angle at order.

What's the warranty, and what happens if a bulb fails?

2-year warranty on fixture, canopy, and wiring. G9 bulbs are standard replaceable parts from any hardware store. Email support replies within one business day at hello@vakkerlight.com.
