Inspiration

The Tassavine Chandelier came from a woven straw parasol at a small garden café, opened over a table under a vine-covered trellis. Its edge was cut in soft scallops and trimmed with a long green fringe that swayed whenever the breeze came through, the same green as the vines above it. We gave the parasol a second tier underneath, kept the fringe on both, and hung it indoors.

Which size should I choose?
The Small (Dia 60cm/23.6″) suits a bedroom or a smaller dining table. The Medium (Dia 80cm/31.5″) suits a standard dining table. The Large (Dia 100cm/39.4″) and X-Large (Dia 120cm/47.2″) are statement sizes for a living room, a great room or a high ceiling.
How bright is it?
Every size holds 3 × E26 or E27 bulbs, included, in Warm Light (3000K). Light filters through the rattan weave and falls from the open bottom. In the Large and X-Large sizes it gives a soft, ambient glow, so pair it with recessed lights in a big room.
How is it installed?
It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and hangs on a center rod with two support cables, so we recommend a licensed electrician.
How do I care for the fringe?
With the light off and cool, gently shake or brush the fringe with a soft dry brush to keep the strands straight. Keep the fringe and rattan dry, and away from steam.
