Pick by where it hangs. 11.8″ / 15.7″ for a bedside, reading nook, hallway, or a cluster of three. 19.7″ / 23.6″ as a single pendant over a kitchen island or dining table. 31.5″ as an oversized statement over a long island, large table, or in a high-ceiling room. Over a table, a shade roughly half to two-thirds the table width usually looks balanced.

What bulb does it use — is it included?

It uses 1 × E27 medium screw base, max 40W. E27 is cross-compatible with the standard US E26 base, so US E26 replacements thread right in. An LED bulb is included and fully replaceable; a 2700–3000K warm white suits the natural rope. Stay at or below 40W.
