The Valerine Pendant Lamp comes from the painted fabric lampshades of a 1930s parlor. A drum of cream fabric is sewn into upright panels, each panel carrying a single floral spray, and the top and bottom edges are cut into scallops and trimmed with a row of small pearls, the way a vintage boudoir shade was finished by hand. A turned knob of ash wood sits above the shade and a matching finial hangs below it, with a twisted cord and a fluted brass-tone canopy overhead.
