The Valessara Chandelier is a Murano glass chandelier of the 1970s brought down to a dining-room scale. Sheets of textured clear glass are folded while hot into curling leaves, each with a single stripe of green or plum trapped inside, then hooked by the dozen onto a tiered iron frame in brass tone, the way Venetian glassworks layered petals on their fixtures. A chain and round canopy carry it from the ceiling. Lit from within, the glass throws rippled light across the ceiling and the colored stripes glow like ribbons, which is why this Murano-style glass leaf chandelier was designed for a dining room, entry, or bedroom in vintage, Hollywood Regency, and coastal homes.
