Inspiration

The Vallorin Pendant Lamp starts from a felt sun hat left on a hook by the door. Its wide brim has gone soft with wear and falls in slow waves, one side lifting while the other dips, and a single round button sits on the crown. Here the brim is a shade of brown fabric set on a thin iron frame, folded into overlapping waves, and the button is a round accent ball in walnut tone or deep green. Under the brim hangs one opal glass globe, or a cluster of three, like the sun caught underneath. When the light is on, the globes glow an even white and the inside of the fabric turns a warm tan, while the waved edge throws soft curved shadows on the ceiling above.

Both share the same Dia 45cm/17.7″ shade. The single-light shows one large globe under the brim and suits a bedroom, entryway or a row over a kitchen island; the three-light clusters three globes and fills out the underside, a good fabric pendant light for a dining room over a 4-seat table.
Which accent ball should I pick?
Walnut tone matches the canopy and keeps the lamp in warm browns for a mid-century or Japandi room; glossy green adds one spot of color against wood floors, cream walls or a green kitchen.
What kind of light does it give?
The opal glass globes spread the LED into soft, even light below the shade, with a warm tan glow on the fabric. It works as ambient light over a table; add recessed lights where you need brighter task lighting.
How do I clean it?
