A placa traseira de cerâmica está disponível em formas oval, redonda ou quadrada, cada uma vitrificada num tom diferente, desde castanho quente como madeira até verde oliva, passando por um acabamento em ferrugem tecida, com o padrão de acanaladuras a irradiar para o exterior a partir do globo de vidro no centro. Monta-se próximo à parede com uma projeção de 13cm a 14cm, de modo que o disco de cerâmica e o globo de vidro ficam flush contra a superfície em vez de se estenderem para fora.
