A Sylvarra Pendant Light resulta da observação de como a luz passa através de uma folha — densa nas veias, brilhante nas extremidades. A madeira de bálsamo é cortada o suficientemente fina para ser translúcida, depois empilhada pétala sobre pétala para que cada sobreposição seja um tom mais escuro do que a adjacente. A articulação de latão no centro mantém-se propositadamente pequena; a madeira é toda a luminária. Quando acesa, o difusor brilha de dentro e projecta sombras em forma de folha no tecto à sua volta.
Duas dimensões — a pequena é mais alta e estreita (individual, entrada ou par de cabeceira); a grande é larga e baixa (sobre uma mesa ou ilha).

Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.
