Corvella Floor Lamp

The Corvella Floor Lamp is a bean vine that has climbed a garden stake and gone looking for more. Three rods of black iron rise from a flat disc, twisting round each other as they go, and the stem leans as a vine leans when it reaches past the top of its support. Two tendrils curl off it in tight scrolls, one low and one high, and a single terracotta-colored disc, ridged like a sunflower head, is fixed where the stem bends. At the tip, tilted a little as if the vine is still moving, sits a plain oatmeal linen shade, tapered like a flowerpot turned over. Lit, the linen glows warm and the iron scrolls throw thin shadows on the wall behind.
