About the Collection

Paper Lanterns — Washi & Rice Paper Lights

These lanterns glow from within, casting soft, diffused light that feels more like candlelight than electricity. Washi and rice paper create a translucent warmth—ideal above dining tables, beside beds, or suspended in entryways where you want presence without harshness. Whether sculptural or retro in silhouette, each pendant, table lamp, and floor fixture invites you to slow down.

Are these lanterns good for bedside use?
Yes—many are specifically designed as bedside-friendly options. Their soft, diffused glow won't strain your eyes at night, and plug-in versions offer convenient placement without rewiring.
How do I know which size to choose for my space?
Pendants work best hung 24–30 inches above a table or counter. Table lamps suit nightstands and shelves; floor lamps anchor corners or behind seating. Start by considering where you sit and read.
