Baskora Table Light

Baskora comes from basketry rather than lighting — the woven forms that sit on a floor or a table because that's what a woven vessel does. Body and shade are made the same way, in the same material, so the lamp reads as one continuous object with a seam rather than a base holding a shade. The weave earns its place twice: as texture in daylight, and as the thing the light has to pass through after dark.

Baskora is a bedside, console, or sideboard lamp — anywhere a warm pool of light matters more than reach, and where the object is on show as much as the light is. The weave filters the output into a soft, textured glow, so it reads as atmosphere rather than task light; pair it with a table lamp elsewhere or a floor lamp if you read in the same chair. Model A is the wider, lower of the two and sits well on a deep console or a low nightstand; Model B is taller and narrower, which suits tight nightstands and shelf corners.
